How to connect the trusses together?
Lighting Truss is usually manufactured in standard lengths such as 1m, 2m, 3m, and they can connected to overall length required.
So how to connect each itsctruss Truss Module to each other?
There are 2 types of connections which are mainly used nowadays:
1. Plated bolt connection
The end of plates are connected with bolts and nuts.
Advantages:
--Universal connection system
--Installation length equals truss length
--Robust connection points
--Easy to use nodal elements
2. Conical connection
Connection with a solid double conical connector which is secured with a conical spigot pin in the ends of the chord tubes and locked with a pin and R clips
Advantages:
--Universal system
--Very quick and simple assembly
--Connection is 100% rigid
--Construction length coresponds to truss lengt
--Conical spigot pin
--Connection elements are not easily damaged and easy to replace
